Mrs. Walley is the iconic “Bird Lady” seen (and heard) at Deux Gros Nez coffee house in Reno, Nevada during the mid-to-late 1990s. Mrs. Walley composed many poems, notes, observations, social critiques and suggestions on napkins and slips of paper, always tearing the corners to make them rounded. The “war zone” poem became a highly coveted DGN to-go cup. Share your story.
